PSAT / NMSQT
The PSAT/NMSQT will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Mendon High School. The College Board has transitioned to a digital format that will require each student to download the Bluebook App to access practice tests and to test on October 26th. Students should create a College Board account if they do not already have one. Students will need their login credentials when accessing BlueBook on test day. You may download the Bluebook App on your personal laptop, or tablet. However, we strongly recommend that students use their PCSD issued device to download BlueBook and on test day. PCSD policy states that we cannot troubleshoot on non-PCSD issued devices. For more information, please visit https://satsuite.collegeboard.org/psat-nmsqt.
The PSAT is used as a performance indicator for the SAT and scores will also be used for consideration in the National Merit Scholarship pool. Though highly recommended, the PSAT is not mandatory and PSAT scores are not used for college admission.
To register for the Digital PSAT, Juniors can pay online through the Pittsford Payment Center at https://www.myschoolbucks.com beginning September 10th or bring a check for $25.00 (payable to PCSD) to the Counseling Office. Registration will close at 3:00PM on October 21st. Fee Waivers are available to those who qualify.
*It is important to note that deadlines are based on the College Board requirements and therefore, no late registrations will be accepted.
